What to Expect at your Cake Smash Session
Your Cake Smash Sessions can typically last about 45 minutes-1 hour. Remember that the little one has no idea that you expect them to smash the cake – so don’t be alarmed or surprised if they don’t dig in straight away! Add the unfamiliar surroundings and a weird bunch of suspiciously happy adults, and you have a recipe for a tantrum. To put the little one’s mind at ease, try distracting them by getting them to show you a skill! When in the right mood, most toddlers are happy to be little crowd pleasers, whether it’s by striking a pose, singing a song or blowing a kiss. Cute!
Theme
Lets talk THEME! We have many Themes, they are all so unique!
When you are booking your Session you get to pick the best part, the theme! We have a variety of themes! Here are some themes to choose from: Monster Inc., Jurassic Park, Where the Wild Is, Beach, Aladdin & Jasmine, Fairy Land, Sesame Street, Mini mouse, Mickey Mouse, Cookie Monster, Pink,Grey & Silver, Blue,Silver & White.
Prior to my shoot, I was anxious and excited about the photo shoot. I was motivated to do a One year old Cake smash photo shoot with my son. My favourite part was watching Danielle interact with my son, she had him laughing and smiling. I was able to stand back and let her do her job. The overall shoot went well. The setup itself really surprised me. It was beyond what I had pictured. Danielle was opened to all of my ideas. She really took the time to plan it out and customized it with my son's name. I feel like my son's first birthday shoot was a great success. We really enjoyed the experience. I would recommend Camera Queen Photography, she was very professional and patient with my son during the entire experience. She went above and beyond to capture great images.

So how do you book?
To book your session, I require a $200 non-refundable retainer to secure your session date & time. This retainer goes toward your chosen Collection. Once your payment is received, all you need to do is to sit back and relax and enjoy the experience! The rest of the payment is due the week before your session. If you'd like to add additional items to your collection, you can do so. It is awesome to see what people do with their images. Some choose Metal Art or Canvases to send out to family & some choose Matted Prints, others add on additional images. It is so beautiful to catch this moment and hold it for a lifetime and more.
