Who is Danielle Lankin aka The Camera Queen?
Hi! I am Danielle!
I'm a fun-loving people-person who absolutely loves photography and people. I come from a big french family, my mom was the baby of 10 siblings!! Every year my family would have what you call the "family campout". My uncle for years provided a weekend of family bonding at his 10 acres of property where we either slept in tents or trailers that were brought from their home. During that weekend we were swimming, DJ and late night dance party, fireworks and a big campfire that the family would sit around and so many more memories would happen.
Every year, it was just so good to see everyone. Family from all over the world came down just to see the family for a weekend- Toronto, Calgary, Bahamas, Kansas, Oshawa, Nova Scotia. This was a ritual until we lost my uncle and aunt to cancer, things got hard. These tragic losses separated my family. 2019 was the last Family Campout. Im so thankful for the moments of happy memories and unforgettable years of love & bonding with my family. Then it made me think, I never knew what I had until I lost it. So I treasure the times, but that's why it is important for you to capture these smiles with your loved ones while you still can.
I was given a camera from my brother at a very young age and it gave me so much happiness. As I was taking photos of my niece, I realized that it came naturally to me.
The thing that excites me about being a photographer, is that you get to be in the moment through the lens, you get to experience the joys of those you photograph. And by the end of the day, you feel as though you are friends with your clients because we both have gone through this unforgettable moment together while creating these photo memories. I believe that every person deserves quality images that will be treasured now and for a lifetime.

My background is actually in Personal Support Work, which has given me extensive training to safely care for you and your children during the session. It has also taught me how to be a compassionate person with a servant heart.
I love watching you and your family grow! This is a time of love & bonding, your family will create these unique images and tell your story. Therefore, helping my clients be themselves in front of the camera is very important to me, because I'm going to be a part of their family.
